It might be something really simple that I'm forgetting, but I don't know what. The Nightingale bow isn't highlighted as an option to improve and when I try, it says "You lack the required skill to improve this item". I can't remember when I actually improved it to flawless, but right now, my smithing level is 100, I have the perk for ebony smithing (and daedric Smithing, for that matter), I have the arcane enchanter perk, I'm also wearing a necklace which allows for weapons to be improved 25% better, and I have ebony ingots in my inventory which I have already used to improve a different item (to legendary) so I know there is nothing wrong with the Ingots. Should that be corrected? Selonianth ( talk) 05:09, (GMT) Could this be due to points you have put into Archery perks? I'm level 52 and I just got the Nightingale bow and I've noticed a difference in damage to what the page here says it is. I heard this was modeled off the ebony or daedric bow is that true 70.181.100.226 10:33, 5 September 2012 (EDT) The model used in game-data is specific to this bow.
